First off like he said sound proof the whole house with foam / anything that absorbs sound waves well. Then transfer their farm into a green house. Also put up mole / gopher repellents everywhere which are way cheaper than speakers and are so high pitched they are basically silent to the human ears. I haven't watched the movie yet so I have no idea how they killed the monster but maybe they can shoot it in the ear once they open up? The whole soundproof thing is useful to well not get killed but also if more monsters come they would have protection. Please like so people can see.
